Naraya is a Japanese style ryokan located in the Joushinetsu Highlands National Park at an altitude of 1,200 meters and situated next to the Yubatake hot spring in the center of the renowned Kusatsu hot spring resort. This is a long established ryokan with a history of 120 years, and the high quality of the hot spring water obtained from the "Shirahata-no-yu" hot spring has gained an established reputation. This ryokan has also established the gallery of works by the Noh artist Masataka Iizuka.
